2. Offers and prices

All prices are in euros and include VAT unless stated otherwise. We may correct obvious pricing or product errors before accepting an order. Product images are illustrative and colours may vary slightly.

3. Sales agreement

An agreement is formed when we confirm your order by email. Orders paid by bank transfer are reserved for [7] days. If we have not received payment by then, the order may be cancelled.

4. Payment

We accept cash on delivery (where available) and bank transfer. Cash on delivery must be paid in full to the carrier on delivery. Refusing a cash on delivery parcel without valid reason may result in a charge for the shipping and return costs.

6. Warranty

As a consumer in the EU you have a legal guarantee of conformity of at least 2 years. In addition, frames and forks carry a [2-year] warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to the manufacturer’s terms. Warranty does not cover normal wear (tyres, chains, brake pads, cables, bar tape), crash or accident damage, misuse, incorrect assembly, modifications, lack of maintenance or use for racing/commercial purposes unless agreed. Warranty claims require proof of purchase. We will repair, replace or refund at our choice, within what the law allows.

7. Safety

You are responsible for checking that your bike is correctly assembled before riding, ideally by a qualified mechanic, and for using a helmet and following traffic rules. Cycling carries inherent risks.

8. Liability

We are not liable for indirect damage or loss of profit. This does not limit liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any rights you have by law as a consumer.

9. User conduct

When using our website or services, you agree to provide accurate information, not to misuse the website, interfere with its security, or use it for unlawful purposes. We may refuse orders or services in case of fraud or abuse.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website (text, images, logos) belongs to Terra Bicycles or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

11. Governing law and disputes

Dutch law applies to these terms and all agreements. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands (Rechtbank Noord-Holland), unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to go to the court in your own country. As a consumer you also keep the protection of mandatory laws of the country where you live.
